🎉 First Freak Meetup of Afronta Quality Solutions’ Systems Team

Last Friday, 29 August, we celebrated our very first Freak Meetup with the Systems Team at Afronta Quality Solutions — a special gathering where we brought together nearly the whole department.

Although the meetup was organised at short notice — we promise to improve next time! — the afternoon gave us plenty of great moments together, lots of laughs and, of course, epic battles of Magic: The Gathering – Commander.

With drinks, snacks and great food, we shared unforgettable moments that have already become part of the department’s story.

• Guillermo, who claimed victory by proliferating without rest.
• Javi, unleashing a goblin army that destroyed everything in its path.
• Sorin, living up to his name by reducing his opponent’s life by more than 30 points with none other than Sorin, House of Markov.
• Ángel, who wrapped up the table in record time thanks to the Thassa’s Oracle + Demonic Consultation combo.

Beyond the masterful plays, the best part was the opportunity to come together in a relaxed setting, spend time outside of work, and strengthen the team spirit that defines us.

And this is only the beginning: in future editions, we want to add more activities, such as introducing MTG to colleagues who haven’t played it yet (with decks prepared just for them!), organising Mario Kart tournaments, and opening the door to any other proposals that allow us to have a good time, share laughs, and bond outside the workplace.

We were left wanting more, so we’re already planning the next meetup, where we hope to have everyone together and keep creating moments as enjoyable as this one.
